Face

A simple look on my face today. No lipstick, which I usually love wearing, but my clothes are a very lazyday-look so too much makeup wouldn’t really match that. Liking my face today though. Also my weekend started yesterday with a girl’s night. I did take photos of the food, so I might include that in a later post (thinking of making a foodpost about my recent meals). Lamar Odom

1. What’s your favorite candle scent? -Vanilla!! Those are literally the only ones I own but I own loads of them.
2. What female celebrity do you wish was your sister? -Zoe Sugg!

3. What male celebrity do you wish was your brother? -I mean naturally Joe Sugg lol.

4. How old do you think you’ll be when you get married?-I think probably 30 but I’d love to get married at 25ish.

5. Do you know a hoarder? -I’m sort of one. Haha not majorly though I just think lots of things have emotional value…lol sounds like a hoarder actually.

6. Can you do a split? -No.

7. How old were you when you learned how to ride a bike? -I don’t know… 

8. How many oceans have you swam in? -Haha I have no clue but I’ve swam in oceans in Finland, Greece, Italy, Canary Islands, Brazil, Estonia, aaand I probably forgot some other places but yeah someone please count the oceans for me hahaha…

9. How many countries have you been to? -About 15+ countries! May have forgotten some, just counted in my head. 

10. Is anyone in your family in the army? -No but it’s mandatory in Finland for men (not to go to like Afghanistan, but to be in the army in Finland for min. 6 months). And my sister actually went by choice for 9 months. Cool girl!!

11. What would you name your daughter if you had one? -I’ve answered this before, I don’t have a first name but something that goes with Emiliana as a middlename.

12. What would you name your son if you had one? -Milo, Edvin as a middle name, Jeremiah, Elias, Elliot… I have many.

13. What’s the worst grade you got on a test? -F

14. What was your favorite TV show when you were a child? -Some finnish shows but I also loved the barbie movies. Barbie the nutcracker was the best.

15. What did you dress up as on Halloween when you were eight? -Halloween is not a huge deal here. But probably as a witch in school.

16. Have you read any of the Harry Potter, Hunger Games or Twilight series? -No.

17. Would you rather have an American accent or a British accent? -British.

18. Did your mother go to college? -Well yes to UNI and she has a PhD and some other even cooler thing I can’t remember the name of.

19. Are your grandparents still married? -My biological grandma died before I was born but my grandma (the person I think of as my grandma) has been married to my grandpa my whole life, so my answer would be yes. 

20. Have you ever taken karate lessons? -No. 

21. Do you know who Kermit the frog is? -Yes but we don’t have that show here.

22. What’s the first amusement park you’ve been to? -Linnanmäki in Helsinki.

23. What language, besides your native language, would you like to be fluent in? -I am fluent in Swedish, Finnish, English. I’d like to be fluent in German because I almost am, and then I’d love to be fluent in French, Spanish and Italian.

24. Do you spell the color as grey or gray? -Grey.

25. Is your father bald? -Haha yes.

26. Do you know triplets? -No.

27. Do you prefer Titanic or The Notebook? -The notebook. It’s one of my favorite movies.

29. What’s the name of your favorite restaurant? -Satkar which is a nepalese food(chain?) in Helsinki.

32. What would your parents have named you if you were the opposite gender? -Onni Anton. Onni means happiness/luck in Finnish.

33. If you have a nickname, what is it? -Don’t have one.

34. Who’s your favorite person in the world? -My mom and probably someone I haven’t met yet :-).

35. Would you rather live in a rural area or in the suburbs? -I’m not sure, I like both.

36. Can you whistle? -Yes.

The many faces of James Franco

My new James Franco top arrived at my apartment today! So obsessed! Comfy, funny, and looks good (not just because it has his handsome face/s on it). It was for a charity campaign so to my knowledge it is not available anymore. Such a fun surprise for a otherwise pretty sucky day. X  
 

Animals

I just left Helsinki and am now on the bus back to Turku (or back home in fact). It’s still weird to call Turku home. It will never be that fully because I know I’m not staying for much longer than for my studies that last ca. five years. 

When I left I realized that the ones I’m going to miss most this time around (at least now in the beginning) are my pets. I have a cat at dad’s and a dog at mom’s. We did have another cat at dad’s but she unfortunately died from a heartdisease back in May. Anyways, here are some pictures of the cuties, both from this weekend and from a longer time ago. The white cat is the one who died… I seem to mostly take pictures of my dog and couldn’t find many of the cats on this phone at least.

  

    
    
    
 

The climbing tree

About 15 minutes from where my mom lives there’s an island called Seurasaari. It kind of means the same to Helsinki as Central park does to New york city. That’s how I can explain it. The two resemble each other in no way, but the point is kind of the same. It is a place where people usually go for walks,fieldtrips, picnics, etc. 

Which is what we did a lot growing up. My mom raised us to be a very “walking family”. I think me and my sisters are among the very few people our age who actually love going on walks, not just walking to places (which we do too). 

Today I went on a walk on that same very familiar path (although there are many to choose from on Seurasaari, so I don’t walk the exact same one every time). I went with one of my good friends because walks are a good activity to do with friends, you can just talk and you get excercise and fresh air at the same time. Anyways, on my way back I suddenly thought about my surroundings a little bit more. 

The thing that I paid attention to the most was this tree. This tree is a tree that me and my sisters used to want to climb everytime we were on a walk. Our deal with mom was that if we come on a walk with her, we can climb the tree. When I look at those branches I can still understand why that was so fun for us: the tree looks like it was made for climbing. I remember my mom did have trouble getting us back home because we just wanted to stay and climb, so it did start quite a few arguments haha. Such a fun part of childhood this tree was.  Xxx

    
 

Just like a tattoo

Tattoo inspiration! I have one tattoo (the one in the title pic) but I would love to get a new one sometime in the next few years. I have loads of ideas about what I’d want, but haven’t chosen anything specific and have absolutely no idea on which part of my body to get it. Anyway here are some pictures from weheartit! Since I used to be very private about details about me, mostly because I wasn’t at all private about feelings and stories, you guys don’t really know much about me. I thought I’d do a little “get to know me tag” so you can learn a little something about me :). If you think this is fun you could totally answer one/some/all of these in the comments so I can learn about my readers as well! 

1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE?– I was not named after anyone. I asked my mom where my name came from once and she basically said they just “came up with it”. Wow great story thanks mom. 

2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED? –I think I cried like a few days ago. Nothing major though.

3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING? –I love my handwriting cause I think it sort of looks nice even when I’m being sloppy.            4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT? -Wtf is lunchmeat, we don’t really have this expression in Finland…? I don’t really love sandwich meats, chicken and fish are my go to’s.                                                                    5. DO YOU HAVE KIDS? -No, I do want kids at some point. 2-3 is ideal.                                  6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON, WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU? –I don’t think I’d like myself at first but I’d probably get to know me and really like me.
